Airdrop Hype Spurs 20% Spike in Crypto Game Players in February The excitement surrounding airdrops caused a 20% increase in the number of players in the crypto game in February.

According to DappRadar and the Blockchain Game Alliance’s monthly report, there was a significant 2000% increase in the average daily active wallets connecting to blockchain games in February. The surge is attributed to the growing popularity of play-to-airdrop campaigns, which motivate players to participate in games by offering the possibility of earning tokens. The increasing prices of crypto gaming tokens contributed to the rise in the average number of daily wallets engaging with crypto games, reaching 0003 million in February. According to the report, the trend of play-to-airdrop is continuing to attract more individuals to blockchain gaming. Not only has this trend contributed to the market’s growth, but gaming tokens are also performing strongly as Bitcoin reaches record highs. Pixels, a well-liked farming game on the Ronin scaling network for Ethereum, is a standout illustration of the trend of playing games to receive airdrops. The PIXEL token saw a decrease in value in February after its second marketing push, resulting in a trading volume of over $2000 billion within a day. The token reached a record high price last weekend as more players joined the platform. The Saga blockchain also conducted a wide-ranging campaign where players received airdrops in various games over the past few months. In addition, games such as Nifty Island and Apeiron are currently running their own promotional efforts. Nyan Heroes, a new game, will be released in early access with play-to-airdrop missions this month. According to DappRadar, the Ethereum scaling network Polygon saw the largest increase in active gaming users in February, with an average of 3,750 daily wallets, representing a 117% increase from January. The report attributes a large portion of this popularity to a trial period for the shooting game Matr1x Fire, which attracted over a million registered players. Following closely behind was Ethereum scaler SKALE, with 284,000 daily active wallets due to games such as MotoDex, 5tars, and StrayShot.
