YouTube researcher Stephen Findeisen, also known as Coffeezilla, has alleged that Rabbit AI was behind a fraudulent scheme involving non-fungible tokens (NFTs). He alleges that the company, formerly known as Cyber Manufacture Co., is trying to hide its association. Rabbit AI, previously known as Cyber Manufacture Co., secured $6 million in funding for its NFT venture called Gama. Coffeezilla pointed out that even though Rabbit AI underwent a rebranding and changed its corporate identity, Jesse Lyu, the CEO, has attempted to separate the company from its history involving cryptocurrencies. Lyu stated in Discord messages that the company has no plans to deal with cryptocurrency in the future, according to Coffeezilla. When asked about it, Lyu referred to the Gama project as an enjoyable small project that originated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
