At 7:16 pm UTC, Coinbase issued a statement addressing the issue. Some Coinbase users may occasionally experience zero account balances and delays on the website. Trading is currently unaffected. Our team is currently looking into this matter and will give an update soon. “Your belongings are secure.” Coinbase put a solution in place at approximately 6:21 pm UTC, about three hours after discovering the problem. The exchange kept an eye on the problem for the next few hours and confirmed at 8:29 pm UTC that it was completely fixed. This was the second time in just five days that the company had faced a very similar issue, on Feb. 28. At that point in time, account holders had a balance of zero and were unable to make any purchases or sales of assets.
