‘Free Sam’: SBF Prison Photo Revealed as FTX Founder’s Inmate Pal Calls for Joe Biden Pardon A photo of SBF Prison has been unveiled, with an inmate friend of the FTX Founder urging President Joe Biden to pardon him

Months following the conviction of Sam Bankman-Fried, co-founder and former CEO of FTX, on federal fraud and conspiracy charges in relation to the collapsed exchange, a purported image of the disgraced crypto mogul in prison has surfaced. Shared on Twitter by Tiffany Fong, a content creator who had interviewed Bankman-Fried after his downfall, the alleged prison photo depicts him alongside other prisoners, most of whom have their faces obscured for privacy. Taken on December 17 at Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn, the photo shows Bankman-Fried wearing a t-shirt, sweat shorts, and sneakers, appearing thinner compared to his pre-prison appearance. He has some facial hair now, which is different from his usual clean-shaven appearance. The photo was given to Fong by a former prisoner named “G Lock,” who is the only other person in the picture with an uncovered face. She posted a brief snippet from a video interview featuring Bankman-Fried’s ex-prison friend, who referred to Sam as his “son” and discussed his actions and hygiene habits while incarcerated. In the video, G Lock mentioned that Bankman-Fried appeared unkempt and mentioned his infrequent showers during that period. G Lock, a former member of the Blood gang, stated that Bankman-Fried expressed interest in growing a beard as it was something new for him. Bankman-Fried was convicted in November for various crimes, such as embezzling billions of dollars from FTX to support Alameda Research. Despite this, G Lock believes that Bankman-Fried is essentially a good person, although he does admit that he can be odd. G Lock is calling for President Joe Biden to pardon Bankman-Fried during his re-election campaign this year, saying “Free Sam Bankman.” Joe Biden, you understand the situation. Before you go, please forgive my son and take care of what needs to be done. Fong intends to upload the complete video interview with G Lock on her YouTube channel soon, which will delve further into Bankman-Fried’s reported conduct in prison and how fellow inmates are interacting with him. The prolonged FTX bankruptcy case could potentially have a positive outcome for customers, as the firm’s lawyers recently stated that “customers and unsecured creditors with approved claims will eventually receive full payment” according to the current plan, although this could change. A number of clients are dissatisfied with the existing plan, which relies on the valuation of their cryptocurrency assets as of November 2022 following the collapse of FTX.
