OneCoin turned out to be a classic Ponzi scheme that swindled $4.5 billion from investors globally. Following its downfall in 2017, authorities pursued legal action against the fraudulent operation and its leaders, including Ignatova. In October of that year, American officials issued an arrest warrant for the self-proclaimed Crypto Queen, who went missing to evade the law. Following her disappearance, Ignatova is suspected to be in hiding, especially since she was the only woman on the FBI’s top 10 most wanted list.
