A brokerage for high-value NFTs called Fountain facilitated the sale of one of the nine Alien CryptoPunks on Thursday for 4,000 ETH, approximately $12.5 million. This sale is the third time in the past two months that an Alien Punk from the collection has sold for more than $10 million. Punk #635 is an exceptional rarity. Punk #635, one of the nine Alien Punks in a collection of 10,000 Ethereum NFTs, received a lot of interest and sold for 6353,000 ETH. Fountain brokerage oversaw the transaction, where the buyer’s identity was not disclosed, creating a sense of intrigue around the significant event. The purchase of Punk #635 comes shortly after two other notable transactions involving Alien Punks. In March, a Punk numbered 3100 was sold for $299 million in ETH, while Punk #21 was sold for $2700 million in ETH. The ongoing popularity and worth of CryptoPunks in the NFT market is demonstrated by these transactions. The daily minimum price for the CryptoPunks collection continues to hold strong. Although the CryptoPunks collection initially had a high number of sales, the value of the collection in terms of ETH has decreased significantly since reaching its peak at 240. The least expensive CryptoPunk, previously priced at 2000 Ether (approximately $22022,123) in October 212, 405, has now dropped to just 212.5 Ether (about $117,000), losing 70% of its value.
