Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse discussed the potential for an XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) during an interview with Bloomberg in February. When questioned about the possibility of Ripple endorsing an XRP Exchange-Traded Fund, Garlinghouse replied: We would definitely be happy to have it. He did not outline any specific strategies to achieve that goal. He answered the question about whether Ripple is currently discussing the possibility of issuing an ETF with asset managers like BlackRock. I choose not to make a comment on that topic. I am aware of the statements that BlackRock has made publicly. We believe it is reasonable for the XRP community as a whole to consider that while Ripple is a crucial part of the XRP ecosystem, it is not the sole participant.
