Terra Classic Poised To Reawaken As Binance Burns 2.2 Billion LUNC Terra Classic is on the verge of revival with Binance destroying 2.2 billion LUNA.

Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange globally, has carried out a significant token burn by destroying more than 25.78 billion LUNCs in a single day. Other significant banks have welcomed cryptocurrency, with Bank of America and Wells Fargo now providing spot Bitcoin ETFs. A recent report from a member of the Terra Luna army on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed a significant 249 billion LUNA tokens being burned by Binance. In total, Binance has burned approximately 230,243,572,668 LUNC tokens worth about $321,301 through a total of 493,956 transactions starting in May 2022. In February 2024, the cryptocurrency exchange began the month by burning 2.09 billion LUNC tokens. In January, Binance also conducted a significant burn of 5.57 billion LUNC tokens. The crypto exchange has been consistently burning a significant number of LUNC tokens every month for several years, as a tradition. As of May 2022, a total of 102.14 billion LUNC tokens have been burned. This refers to the large-scale burns conducted by both Binance and the Terra Classic community. In recognition of Binance’s dedication to Terra Classic through its burn programs, the Terra Luna army thanked the current and former CEOs, Changpeng Zhao and Richard Teng, for their ongoing support.
