Ripple’s XRP token could be the next big cryptocurrency to earn you generational wealth. The asset had a few rough years from 2020 to 2024 due to the SEC’s lawsuit against the fintech company. The financial watchdog accused the firm of selling unregistered securities. The litigation was finally put to rest earlier this year. With its legal woes out of the way, XRP could help you achieve an early retirement.

Ripple’s XRP token could get a spot ETF approval sometime this year. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart, XRP has an 85% chance of an ETF approval. Seyffart’s report highlights that the SEC already most likely considers the asset as a commodity. The 19b-4 filing has also been acknowledged. The financial watchdog has until Oct. 17 to announce its decision.

An ETF approval will likely lead to a substantial price rally for XRP. Bitcoin (BTC) hit multiple all-time highs after the SEC approved 11 spot BTC ETFs in 2024. XRP may follow a similar pattern to BTC. An ETF will likely lead to a surge in institutional investments. XRP price could even go beyond the $100 mark under such conditions. The asset is trading for just over $2 right now.

According to Changelly analysts, Ripple’s XRP token could hit a maximum price of $23.43 by the end of this decade. The asset’s price will rally by 950.67% if it hits the $23.43 target.
