Whale Abandons Massive PEPE Position For Shiba Inu – How Much SHIB Did They Buy? A whale has sold off its large PEPE holding to invest in Shiba Inu – How many SHIB tokens did they purchase?
A large cryptocurrency investor has taken a big risk by trading a substantial portion of their PEPE investment for the Shiba Inu token, SHIB. This whale has purchased billions of SHIB tokens. According to a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Lookonchain, a platform for analyzing blockchain, has revealed a significant investment made by a large cryptocurrency investor. The analytics platform discovered that a mysterious investor known as a crypto whale, who had previously invested a lot in the PEPE token, has now sold off those holdings and bought SHIB instead. This news comes as former employees of FTX and Alameda invest $24 million in a new crypto exchange startup. Lookonchain found that a large amount of PEPE tokens, valued at over $2220.54 million, were transferred to Binance by a whale, as seen in a screenshot of the transactions on Etherscan. By making a smart investment in a cryptocurrency related to frogs, the whale has earned a big profit of $3.49 million, which is more than half of what was initially invested. After this successful investment, the whale bought around $75.9 billion SHIB worth $893 million from Binance and transferred it to an undisclosed crypto wallet. The whale’s choice to sell off its large PEPE holdings in exchange for SHIB shows its positive view of the dog-themed meme coin, indicating possible growth for the cryptocurrency. Lately, there has been a surge in interest from investors looking to capitalize on potential gains by putting money into the Shiba Inu token. In January, there was a significant increase in SHIB whale transactions, indicating a high demand for the dog-themed token. Currently, Bitcoin is being traded at $61,991. Diagram: TradingView.com.
